Secrets
of the Sith [SOTS] is fanfilm with a difference.
It will only ever be 3 trailers - a teaser and two
main trailers. But what these trailers will give
is the feeling of an epic movie with a wide scope
of story, vistas, effects and characters... but
sadly the movie will never actually be made.
Why embark on a film like
this and not make a complete film?
For us the answer is simple, we knew we would never
have the time to make a movie with the scope of
what we have locked up inside our imaginations and
we had seen the impact a great trailer can have
on an audience, with its fast storytelling, plot
hints, dramatic changes of timing and cutting. Its
all there as an instant burst of energy, and that
is what this fanfilm is all about. Having originally
planned a small short movie, as the project grew
and grew and more people wanted to get involved,
it felt better to reward their work with something
that would give an amazing sense of scale and magic,
even if it would never be a complete movie.

What's
coming soon?
The next update is planned to be an upload of storyboards
that were created in the pre-production stage and used
as a guide when principle photography began and wrapped
in 2002. The aim each week is to get different content
up until we have the main site, and then add news, images
or multimedia on a weekly basis. |
